An American citizen may often take America’s freedoms for granted. We look at our country, especially the youth, and think that it’s always been like this, that our way of life is just the way the whole world is: happy and free. Yet, that’s not the case. We must be aware of and acknowledge our uniqueness. That’s what we do on this blog. We affirm the story of our freedom and the ideas that gave it birth. Only by appreciating the origin of our freedom in America, may we begin to fully protect it.
